Reservoir Engineer, December 2018 - September 2021
Coordinated gas EOR projects related to CO2 foams, hydrocarbon gas injection, and sequestration.
Delivered regular updates to project owners and stakeholders. Responsibilities included balancing project budgets (> $1MM annually), experimental design, construction, execution, and interpretation.
Performed high-pressure, high-temperature coreflooding experiments to study CO2 and natural gas foam behavior in porous media.
Worked with simulation teams to build foam modeling capability using in-house simulation software and conducted foam simulations for upscaling laboratory data to pilot design.
Oversaw the commission and execution of Chevron’s first lab-scale H2S unit for assessing surfactant performance in sour conditions at reservoir temperature and pressure.
