I received the Henry J. Ramey, Jr. Fellowship award for 2023-2024. The award recognizes the most prominent research student in the Department of Energy Science & Engineering. It is awarded annually to a person selected by the faculty.

Two of my conference proceedings were published and presented at the SPE Western Regional Meeting held from 16 - 18 April in Palo Alto, CA. The first article is related to my PhD research examining the interplay between hydrogen and brine in the subsurface during injection and shut-in periods. The second article is from my summer internship with ExxonMobil, which looks at how to engineer a 3-D fault into a reservoir model to model fluid flow through potential conduits.

The first portion of my PhD research has now been published in the Journal of Energy Storage. This work examines the roles of temperature and gravity on hydrogen-containing mixtures in underground hydrogen storage. It is available for free here until 16 April 2024.
